Microsoft slashes the price of its Surface RT tablets

Thinking about a Surface RT Tablet? Check your ads this Sunday as price drops have been confirmed by Staples latest ad.

Update: Just a reminder that Sunday is here and many retail sites have advertised the lowered price of $350, which is where it should have been in the first place. Keep in mind that the Surface is under-powered and the RT2 is coming soon. But, if you were shopping a Surface RT for some reason, this is the time.

New prices will be:

Surface RT 64GB - $449.99
Surface RT 32GB with Touch Cover - $449.99
Surface RT 64GB with Touch Cover - $549.99
