Microsoft Stops Sales of Windows 8.1 and Windows 7 to All OEMs

As promised, October 31st has come and gone and Microsoft has stopped selling Windows 7 Pro and Windows 8.1 licenses to OEM companies including Dell, HP, Asus and others.
Windows 7 and 8.1 can still be installed and run but you can no longer buy a PC with either installed.
Windows 8 and 8.1 will cease support in 2017 and extended support in 2023.
Oddly enough, this image posted at The Windows Club shows Windows 10 end of life to be 2025, which should be wrong since Microsoft said Windows 10 is the last operating system name change.
Windows Club also mentions that the timing of this might just make Black Friday the perfect time to get a great deal on a Windows 7 or Windows 8 closeout special.
