Just when you think you’ve seen all the bad parenting you can, someone raises the bar.

Say hello to Breona Synclair Watkins, 19, who didn’t have a car seat for her baby so she did what any Mensa member would do – she put the baby in the trunk to avoid getting a ticket. In the trunk next to the 5-month old baby was a rusty metal hangar, a rusted tire iron and a used gas can and other hazardous materials.
She was pulled over after an officer spotted a headlight out and Watkins continued driving for 1\4 mile while she had a 14-year old passenger place the baby in the trunk through an opening in the back seat. The 14-year old said the car belonged to his mother.
The baby was heard crying by the officer.
Watkins was arrested and charged with child abuse, resisting an officer and five traffic-related offenses, including driving without a license and failure to have a child restraint and is being held in the Broward Main Jail on Tuesday evening on a $7,000 bond.
