New on MajorGeeks: Door Control

Posted by: Jon Ben-Mayor on 02/07/2016 09:34 AM [ comments Comments ]

Door Control is a simple, easy-to-use utility that gives you the ability to quickly open and close your CD/DVD door via a hot key or systray icon.

It provides you with an easy way to open you CD/DVD door even if your tower is not right at your side like in some office environments.

Door Control provides you with 5 pre-defined options for the hotkey selection; scroll lock, F11, F8, *, or home subscribing to the K.I.S.S. method so that anyone can master and use it.

This is a one trick pony type application; there aren't any other settings to speak of, but the benefit is that it performs this simple one trick flawlessly every time, and it is so small in size that you will never even know it is there.
