DreamCalc Scientific Graphing Calculator provides you with a very realistic calculator that includes a full range of scientific functions.
One feature that I really enjoyed was the voice output; since it isn't handheld this feature makes typing on the screen easy as you are hearing the call back on keystrokes. This is perfect if you are working out of a text book or hard copy paperwork.
It comes loaded with loads of scientific functions, statistics, complex numbers, base-n logic, unit conversions, numerical calculus and built-in constants and a powerful polynomial solver. Select from Reverse Polish Notation or pre-fix or post-fix algebraic input, and with the optional ability to run in your Windows system tray, DreamCalc will always be there whenever you reach for a calculator.
DreamCalc Scientific Graphing Calculator has different options to choose from depending on your specific needs; a freeware version, pro, and graphing. The freeware version has mostly everything needed to get the job done, other than some of the graphing/statistical/financial features, but the $29.99 pro version has every feature possible. And with the price of a good handheld in the range of $100+ this is a bargain. I have passed the program on to my high school-aged daughter, since she has lost 2 expensive handhelds already - but not her laptop.. yet!
