New York Times launches Glass app

The New York Times has sent out a brief introduction to Glass. It is the first installable third-party app that's been made available to Glass owners according to CNET.

The Times says that you will be able to get 'Breaking News' alerts and hourly 'Top News' updates, and you will also have the option of having the news read aloud. With the app there is also some basic information that needs to be shared, which isn't uncommon, and seeing as though only a handful of people actually have Glass, I am sure that this might evolve further.

If you are on the go, and don't have the time to catch up on the news, this will be a wonderful way of keeping up to date without having to slow down.
