NSA approves Samsung Knox

Posted by: Timothy Weaver on 10/21/2014 10:01 AM [ comments Comments ]

From now on, US spooks will be allowed to access sensitive government information on their KNOX-locked Samsung gadgets.

KNOX security products have been heavily pushed by the South Korean company and it appears as though it has paid off. The NSA has now approved nine Samsung devices, including the Galaxy S4 and the Galaxy Note 4 for use by its operatives.

The US Department of Defense has also given the go for its employees but only for unclassified data.

According to Edward Snowden, the NSA spends around $250m per year on trying to create security weaknesses in commercial tech products.
