Japan jumped the gun (or missile) with a tweet on @yokohama_saigai that read: "North Korea has launched a missile", the tweet according to officials was prepared in advance.

Officials were notified about the error by one of their twitter account followers, and went on to say that they were not sure why it was sent. Within 20 minutes the tweet was retracted, and a apology was posted.

Tensions are high in the region with the growing rhetoric from North Korea continually escalating, which includes the threat that today indeed could be the day that a launch will happen. The Express reported "According to intelligence obtained by our side and the U.S., the possibility of a missile launch by North Korea is very high."
