An Akron, OH., man was arrested on assault charges after he attacked a letter carrier for not delivering his highly anticipated check. The man became rabid in front of a crowd of onlookers in an intersection near his home - bad dogman!
According to Ohio.com, Robert Kiefer, 25, resisted efforts to stop fighting and also fought with an officer trying to handcuff him. Police eventually sprayed Kiefer with pepper spray and subdued him, the report shows.
The postal worker told police that Kiefer became angry after being told he did not have a check that the resident was expecting to be delivered. Kiefer grabbed the postal workers pepper spray and began to attack him; Kiefer managed to spray the worker in the eye before the pair began wrestling on the ground. At this time Kiefer bit the 56 year old postal worker on the leg.
Kiefer was arrested on misdemeanor charges of assault and resisting arrest. He was held over at the county jail after being unable to post bail..
I suppose that darn check may have helped!
