Ouya offers low price, and free games

With a cost of only $99 the Ouya right from the get go grabs my attention, with PS3 coming in at around $269, and Xbox at about $299 how can you go wrong?

Ouya says that they want to bring the most creative, innovative and engaging games back to the TV by allowing developers of all sizes to be able to build games in 1080p for the big screen.

As part of the marketing to pump up their product they want to make sure that you know that all games are free, but you are able to purchase them if for some reason you truly must. So basically you can play any game until your thumbs are deformed and not have to spend a single cent.

Ouya does not have the need for compact discs and the like, because they direct download all the games. This also keeps you playing the most up to date, and newly released versions, whether the game is from a big time developer or not it will be available to you.

Ouya states that they are set up with NVIDIA Tegra 3 processor, 1GB of RAM, and 8GB of internal storage (expandable via USB). So don’t hold back, whether you use WiFi or Ethernet, download games or stream your favorite videos or music apps in beautiful 1080p HD. And since OUYA is the first totally open video game console, we welcome you to unscrew it and have a look around.
