How many sandwiches are too many? Apparently for one man the number is six. Des Moines, IA., police say that Jerome Davis assaulted his brother after the brother became angry that Davis was making too many peanut butter and jelly sandwhiches.
According to the Des Moines Register, the victim told police that his brother, Jerome Davis, "made three peanut butter and jelly sandwiches and ate them in the living room."
“Within the next hour, the suspect made another three of these peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, bringing his total consumption of peanut butter and jelly sandwiches to six. This angered the victim,” the police report said.
When the brother finally confronted Davis, he pulled out a folding knife and held to his face. Davis told police before they arrested him that he did it because his brother wouldn't "shut the f*@!k up and mind his own business."
Davis was arrested and charged with assault domestic abuse with a weapon.
