Pirate Bay co-founder to be sentenced in Denmark

The Court of Fredriksberg in Denmark on Thursday found Pirate Bay co-founder Gottfrid Svartholm Warg guilty of hacking and serious vandalism.
Warg was found guilty of hacking the mainframe of IT service provider CSC. The court also found a 21 year old Danish man guilty of acting as Warg's accomplice but would not reveal the mans name.
Warg's sentence is to be announced on Friday. However, the prosecutor in the case is requesting a five year sentence.
The judge found that Warg had accessed hundreds of thousands of Danish social security numbers, criminal records and extradition agreements on the CSC's mainframe.
Warg has been detained in a Danish cell since November of last year after being extradited fro Sweden where he was serving a one year sentience for hacking the mainframe of IT consulting firm Logica.
