According to TorrentFreak, The Pirate Bay is now back online after a two month hiatus.

Apparently, not even police action against the site can kill it off, as the original site is now back online.
The site is mostly back to where it was, TorrentFreak reports, with "minimal" data loss, but some pages result in 404 errors. TorrentFreak also notes that the site's staff no longer has access to the moderation panel.
The Pirate Bay has had a tumultuous existence. Back in 2009, a Swedish court found The Pirate Bay's operators guilty of violating copyright laws. The site was bought that same year by a Swedish internet cafe for $7.8 million.
It will be interesting to see how long it stays up.
