Porn is Safer Than Many Other Sites

Ever got a virus and wondered if it came from that porn site you visited?
Well, according to Malwarebytes' senior security researcher Jerome Segura, porn sites are safer than we think. In fact, they're safer than a lot of non-porn websites.
If you ask Pornhub, they will tell you that 78.9 billion videos were watched last year. That works out to about 11 videos for everybody on the planet.
According to the Independent, 56% of Britons will tell you that they "occasionally" watch porn. These sites not only have to overcome the stigma, but have a responsibility to keep their sites clean.
And this is exactly what they have done. "Pornography publishers are about half the publishers we work with" says Malwarebytes CEO Marcin Kleczynski.
"They do take security seriously...their response times [to an attack] have been significantly better than other publishers."
