Port St. Lucie man caught walking funny - Had needles in a funny 'area'

Port St. Lucie police pulled over a blue Ford Escape at 3 am one morning because the driver had 'high beamed' the patrol car as they passed each other.
Upon making contact with the driver, according to the police report, he identified himself as Kamon Holobaugh. The officer quickly noticed that Kamon seemed nervous, was sweating profusely, and his pants were unzipped. Not really weird at 3am, after high beaming a police cruiser, right?
The officer was able to get consent to search the car, and as Kamon exited the vehicle several white pills fell to the ground. At this point Kamon was instructed to walk over to the other patrol car that had responded to assist, as he was doing so the officer noticed him 'walking awkwardly'. When asked about his awkward walking motion, he responded that it "was due to a past injury".
At this point officers finished the search of the vehicle which turned up 5 more pills that were in plain sight on the driver side floor board. The pills turned out to be morphine sulfate, and a total of 8 were recovered. Kamon indicated that he did not know what they were, and that a 'friend' had given them to him.
Kamon then told officers that he very well might have more items on his person, and that he actually "may have some needles between his cheeks" - Note he was able to talk to the officer.
This part is right from the report, and the way the officer wrote it struck me funny. The officer states: "that upon searching that area" he located a bag of needles. Kamon then told the officer that were more pills a little deeper in the 'area' and he wanted them out before getting to jail, so he wouldn't get into trouble. The officer then notes that after "moving around for a little bit" that another clear plastic baggy was found that contained more pills.
Per Off The Beat, Kamon was arrested on charges including possession of a controlled substance without a prescription and drug equipment possession and or use.
