R.I.P: Adam West, 88

Not much of an introduction is needed here for Adam West. He was a part of most of our childhoods as the iconic Batman from the 60's. But his career spanned way beyond the confines of his Batman role with numerous voice overs, starring and supporting roles all the up to this year.

We will flash the Bat Light to the sky one last time in your honor ~ RIP, Adam West.



His family posted a statement on the verified Adam West Facebook profile that reads, "It's with great sadness that we are sharing this news...Adam West passed away peacefully last night (6/9/17) after a short but brave battle with leukemia. He was a beloved father, husband, grandfather, and great-grandfather. There are no words to describe how much we'll miss him. We know you'll miss him too and we want you to know how much your love and support meant to him throughout the years. Hug your loved ones today."
