R.I.P: Capt. Jeff Kuss, Blue Angels Pilot

All of us here at MajorGeeks have enjoyed the Blue Angels aerobatics, recently in Vero Beach and as soon as next week in Syracuse, NY. Yeah, we're big fans.

So it is with great sadness that we report that USMC Capt. Jeff Kuss, a Blue Angels pilot, died from injuries suffered in a plane crash in Tennessee yesterday.

The crash occurred at the beginning of practice, just after the pilot took off, the Navy said. The plane went down about 2 miles from the Smyrna, Tennessee airport.

None of the five other Blue Angels jets was involved in the incident.

R.I.P. May your afterburner take you all the way up.
