Two Virginia men were involved in a bizarre fight that erupted in the parking lot of a York county Wawa convenience store. The issue between Travis Dringenberg, 20, and the unnamed 16 year old had been smoldering ever since the 16 year old allegedly hit Dringenberg's car several weeks earlier.
According to the criminal complaint obtained by WTKR, Dringenberg thought the teen had hit his car several weeks ago and addressed the issue by throwing ice at the teen’s car.
The teen’s response was to throw a plastic bottle.
According to the complaint, Dringenberg then stepped it up even more, pulling out a PVC pipe, which he threw at the teen’s car.
Each unwilling to back down, they threw the pipe at each other several more times, until the teen finally got in his car and left.
The pinnacle of the argument was when the teen sped out of the parking lot with Dringenberg in hot pursuit. At one point unopened cans of Bud Light were thrown, causing other motorists to swerve out of the way.
Both of the 'men' were charged with throwing objects at a moving vehicle, a felony, and reckless driving.
