Remove ghosted hardware from your PC with Ghostbuster

Ghostbuster is an effective way to remove ghosted devices from your PC. Ghosted devices specifically refers to hardware no longer connected to the PC.

After the registry has been scanned and if any ghosted devices have been detected, Ghostbuster will then allow you to easily remove them with a simple click of the mouse.

This application enumerates all devices, detects ghosted devices and removes them if they match selectable device types and/or device classes.

This uninstall process is similar to the one in Windows Device Manager with one major bonus; Ghostbuster will allow you to do it in bulk for all filtered devices - this save precious time. Another plus for Ghostbuster is that it will NOT uninstall an active device nor certain other device types that are considered to be services, even if they're ghosted.

It is important to point out that you need to be extremely careful when marking devices; especially under System, as some are required for correct operation of hardware.

It is portable so you can keep in your toolkit for use on the go.
