Revenge Porn Hacker Arrested; Pleads Guilty to Felony Charges

Charles Evens, 26, a California man, pleaded guilty to two felony charges Wednesday. He was accused of hacking into victims' Gmail accounts to obtain images at the behest of revenge porn site operator Hunter Moore.
Evens pleaded guilty to one count of unauthorized access to a protected computer to obtain information for purposes of private financial gain and one count of aggravated identity theft. The charges could land him in jail for up to seven years.
In February, Moore, the operator of IsAnyoneUp[.]com, pleaded guilty to the same two charges.
The FBI said that while Moore posted images that were submitted to the site, Evens obtained more photos through hacking and was paid for his services.
Evens, arrested in January 2014 with Moore, is scheduled to be sentenced on Nov. 16. Moore's sentencing date is Aug. 12.
