Does Ross Ulbricht have a shot at a new trial? Two of the investigators have been charged with stealing over $1 million worth of Bitcoin during the Silk Road investigation.
Former Secret Service agent Shaun Bridges agreed Wednesday to plead guilty to stealing $820,000 worth of Bitcoin.
Bridges obtained Silk Road login credentials after arresting one of the site's customer service representatives then used them to the transfer the digital currency to himself.
DEA agent Carl Force, who extorted Ross Ulbricht out of $235,000, is accused of creating false identities during the Silk Road investigation.
Both men are reported to plead guilty in August.
