Rovio Account lets you save your Angry Birds across devices

It always fascinates me how proud app developers are of designing simple arcade games and then taking years to perfect it. Case in point; Rovio now lets you sync your games if you create an account. That’s right; you can now play your games across numerous devices but not by using something you already have, like Facebook. Here are the details from Rovio:

"We've been gradually rolling out Rovio Account over the past couple of months, listening to feedback and ensuring a seamless sync experience for all of our fans.

Today we're thrilled to announce that Rovio Account is now globally available on iOS and Android devices!

We know that you've all been waiting for a way to sync progress between devices and we really feel that we have an amazing solution in place now.

For now, Rovio Account is available on the original Angry Birds game, as well as The Croods. The next step is for us to roll this out onto other Angry Birds and non Angry Birds titles, so that's exactly what we're going to do!"

Or don't.
