Russia and China have come to an agreement over cyber-security.
The pact (written in Russian) promises that neither will launch attacks at each other over the internet. The pact also promises to not "destabilize the internal political and socio-economic atmosphere," or "interfere with the internal affairs of the state.
Included in the agreement is the sharing of information between law enforcement agencies in an effort to secure each other's critical national infrastructures.
The pact is said to be in response to Western nation hacking and surveillance operations. Allegations are that the U.S. is snooping on companies in Russia and tapping into the networks of Chinese companies.
This agreement, according to cybersecurity consultant Oleg Demidov, will "set a precedent for two global cybersecurity powers."
