I was just showing someone my Galaxy S4 the other day and since it has almost completely replaced my tablet I have had some interest in the Samsung Galaxy Mega, although it might just be too big.
Now we have word from SlashGear that it will be here next month following the European rollout and most likely to keep up the competition with the upcoming new iPhones and iPads.
The Galaxy Mega consists of a 5.8-inch model and a 6.3-inch version, but Samsung is only bringing its 6.3-inch model to US at this time. AT&T, Sprint and U.S Cellular will get the phone first but T-Mobile and Verizon users will have to wait a bit longer.

There are some shortcomings to consider like a 720p display but it should be sufficient given its size. Pricing is not a sure thing either but SlashGear seems to think that you will be looking at around $700 off contract and $200-300 on contract.
Don't forget, you don't need to like the Mega variants, you have the 5 inch Galaxy S4 and don't forget the Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini, if mini is your thing.
Update: AT&T now says you can have it Friday. Cost is $24 per month with AT&T Next or $149.99 with a two-year agreement. Sprint says "later this year".
