Samsung Galaxy S4 Pre-Orders Begin Today

Verizon announced that you will be able to pre-order the Samsung Galaxy S4 online starting today, with in-store purchases starting on May 30.

Verizon says the S4 is a must for anyone that travels overseas because of the S Translator™ app which is a multilingual pocket dictionary that will translate words and phrases that the user can either speak or write into the device.

One feature that got my attention originally was the Air View™ and Air Gesture app which allows users to interact with their smartphone without even touching it, this is a must for someone like me that hates an oily or smudged up screen. Hovering a finger over the screen lets users preview emails and waving a hand over the phone can scroll up and down a webpage. Other apps on the Galaxy S4 include WatchON™, which turns the smartphone into a home entertainment remote and personal TV guide.

The online pre-order price is $199.99 after a $50 mail-in rebate with, of course, a new two-year customer agreement.
