Scan your Firefox downloads for viruses with Fireclam

The Fireclam addon provides users of Firefox with an additional way to scan their downloads for viruses.

This addon is not a replacement for other antivirus protection and should be used as an additional form of protection.

Fireclam uses ClamAV to scan Firefox downloads for viruses. Every download will automatically be scanned in the background. If a virus is found an alert message is shown. By default no further action happens and you will need to delete the file yourself, you can set the options to automatically delete or quarantine the infected file via ClamAV settings.
