Sergey Brin: Smartphones are 'emasculating'

Man, I don’t get Sergey Brin at all lately. This guy seems to want to diss on the coolest things and ruin them. A good example is him wanting to have self-driving cars – something most people are against. Now he wants to diss on smartphones according to Cnet.

Speaking at the TED Conference today in Long Beach, Calif., Brin told the audience that smartphones are "emasculating." "You're standing around and just rubbing this featureless piece of glass," he said.

Note that he said this while wearing that Google Glass he is promoting which really just looks much stupider than using a smartphone. Sorry Sergey. Time to get some new people around you. Your search engine is having issues and losing respect, numerous software companies you had were recently closed and you just seem to be swinging and missing a lot as your core business falters.

A great example is the requirement that people can get a prerelease version of Google Glass by pitching it on Twitter or Google+. Google+. Way to stick your head in the sand. That failed on launch.
