South Korean police raid Samsung offices

South Korean police have raided the offices of Samsung in conjunction with an investigation into alleged theft of display technology, specifically that LG leaked information to Samsung related to OLED technology.

A spokesperson for Samsung says that they have no reason to steal this technology, which is known to not have any trade secrets, and that Samsung has the world’s best OLED technology.”

Son Young Jun, a spokesperson for LG Display indicated to Bloomberg that they did not report Samsung to police, and that the police have made the allegation themselves.
