Speed up your Firefox browsing experience with QuickJava

Posted by: Jon Ben-Mayor on 01/22/2015 07:13 AM [ comments Comments ]

It is a definite pain when you are attempting to surf the net and you continuously get bogged down by various plugins - QuickJava allows you to temporarily shut them down so you can enjoy your session.

QuickJava is a great Firefox addon that will allow you to quickly enable and disable Java, Javascript, Cookies, Image Animations, Flash, Silverlight, Images, Stylesheets and Proxy from the Toolbar. By disabling some of these plugins (which play sounds, expend battery life and are just quite annoying at times) you will preserve precious processing power allowing for a more responsive and clean browsing experience.

User control is extremely customizable while still maintaining effective security features and decreasing bandwidth.

This is great for users that want a easy control over their bandwidth usage, privacy or general browsing security by blocking scripts, cookies or other functionality.
