On average I misplace something around my house at least once a day; from coffee cups, keys, tablet, all the way up to my wallet. I have even lost track of where the cat is, and inadvertently locked the poor thing in the garage all night. StickNFind is looking to render the daily 'I lost my .......' a thing of the past.
Stick-N-Find works with circular Bluetooth stickers that you can attach onto whatever it is that you want to keep track of, then as long as you have an iOS device with Bluetooth 4.0 (iPhone 4s, iPhone 5, new iPad, New Touch, mini iPad), or an Android device that supports Bluetooth Low Energy, running Android 4.1 or newer, you track them through the smartphone app.
“The Radar Screen will display all your devices in a Radar type Screen. Of course, because we don’t really know direction, the radar Screen can only be used to approximate the distance of the Stick-N-Find to your phone, but not direction. So once you have located on the Radar Screen a Sticker you would like to find, you start walking in a specific direction, and see if it gets closer or farther.”
Stick-N-Find Stickers have a Range of about 100 Feet, with a Battery that lasts for over a year. The Stick-n-Find uses a standard watch battery, so it is easy to replace the battery.
Per Geeky-Gadgets the StickNFind project is currently over on the Indiegogo website looking to raise enough pledges to make the jump from concept to production. So if you think StickNFind is something you could benefit from, visit the Indiegogo website and help StickNFind become a reality.
