A man visiting Daytona Beach, FL., was beaten and robbed inside Lollipop's Gentlemen's Club - security guards claim he didn't pay his bill. The guards, including a former deputy, beat and stomped on the victim and then stole his jewelry. This was not the lap dance he wanted...
According to the Daytona Beach News-Journal, a beachside strip club manager and two bouncers were arrested over the weekend and charged with beating and robbing 55-year-old Thomas Volz from Nebraska, police said.
The fracas at Lollipop’s Gentlemen’s Club on North Grandview Avenue left Volz, who was on a business trip, bleeding in an alley with a broken nose, chipped tooth, road rash and a concussion, according to police reports.
"He gets punched in the face, they knock him down to the ground and they stomp him. They give him a good old-fashioned beat down," said Chief Mike Chitwood.
While he was still on the floor, Kramer and several other bouncers dragged him to the parking lot of the bar and continued to punch and kick him, police said.
Volz told police Kramer took his phone out of his pocket and removed the battery so he couldn’t call police. Once again, he was punched in the face and lost consciousness.
When he awoke this time, he noticed “a black male,” later identified in surveillance video as Riley, removing his gold bracelets. At this point, Volz told police he saw a young couple walking down the street and screamed for help. The couple were apparently able to contact police.
Jermine Riley, 40, former deputy Michael Kramer, 35, and Brent Rose, 42, were all arrested and charged with principal to commit armed robbery and battery, robbery without a weapon and aggravated battery causing bodily harm.
