Super Smash Land is one designers way of honoring his love of the Smash Brothers series. The game is played as if you were using your Nintendo GameBoy lending way to a very nostalgic gaming experience - not that 1999 is too long ago but it's eons in gaming.
Super Smash Land attempts to stay true to the original with some poetic license from the programmer, Dan Fornace. The gameplay is simplified but retains all the characters and features that you know and love. During the development it was decided that the soundtrack needed to be revamped in order to create a new feel to this old classic standby - but even though it is new it's still has that Nintendo flare.
