A man in Massachusetts was pulled over for speeding by a Hingham police officer - Scott Lowe, 22, gave the officer one of the best excuses for his speed, "I just won the Lottery!"



The officer tweeted about the stop, saying that Lowe was visibly shaking. According to WCVB Boston, Lowe told the officer he had just won $50,000 on a Massachusetts State Lottery scratch-off ticket and was going to lottery headquarters in Braintree to claim it.



His luck did not run out there - the officer only issued him a verbal warning and told him to drive safely.
