The Coolest: The Geekiest Cooler EVER!

Posted by: J. McMahon on 07/14/2014 05:48 AM [ comments Comments ]

I suppose it is kind of hard to get all geeked up about a cooler. I mean, it stores ice, keeps your drinks cold and if you are really styling - yours has wheels.

Well, get ready to put the notion that coolers are lame behind you because Ryan Grepper has stepped out of the box and made.... The Coolest.

The Coolest is "60 quarts of AWESOME" and is amazingly well thought out to the point of elegance. They pack every feature you could possibly want for a day out including tunes, a USB charger, LED lighting, cutting board, a rechargeable blender and a host of other nifty additions. The Coolest is, to use a cliche, the Swiss army knife of coolers and I have to have one.

Ryan Grepper launched his idea on kickstarter hoping to raise $50,000. With still 45 days to go the project is over 3.9 MILLION in pledges! Looking at the pledges, the most value is at the $185 level where you'd get your very own Coolest delivered sometime in February. However, for those of you with a few extra bitcoins, for $2000 Ryan will personally bar tend your next bash with nothing but his fully functional prototype and his ability to make awesome drinks. If you do pony up for that deal - make sure to send me an invite.
