The Onion's NYPD "Stop and Kiss" newscast tricks some netizens (Video)

The Onion caught some people off guard with a satirical news cast that was thought by some to be real; because you know - if it is on the internet it has to be true.

The newscast even included fake quotes from NYC Mayor Bloomberg and Police Commissioner Ray Kelly along with video of a "stop-and-kiss" taking place. As ridiculous as it may seem, WIOD News Talk points out that many people seemed to take the video seriously.
