Twitter is rolling out its multi-step verification process after multiple high-profile breaches on user accounts have been in the news recently, one of which had a serious effect on the Dow Jones.
We touched on the fact that Twitter was in the process of getting the security holes filled back in April, well it seems that they put it into high gear.
In a blog post Jim O’Leary from the Product Security Team says: "Today we’re introducing a new security feature to better protect your Twitter account: login verification."
They also provide the steps and a video to make it happen:

Visit your account settings page.
Select “Require a verification code when I sign in.”
Click on the link to “add a phone” and follow the prompts.
After you enroll in login verification, you’ll be asked to enter a six-digit code that we send to your phone via SMS each time you sign in to twitter.com.
