Microsoft released the Advance Notification Security Bulletin for August which contains a total of 9 security fixes with 2 deemed as critical, the critical fixes involve, once again, a remote code execution flaw within Microsoft Windows and Internet Explorer.
The critical Windows update specifically affects business and professional editions of Windows 7 and Windows 8 while the Internet Explorer update affects all versions of Windows on all supported platforms.
This bulletin advance notification will be replaced with the August bulletin summary on August 12, 2014. For more information about the bulletin advance notification service, see Microsoft Security Bulletin Advance Notification.
The Hacker News notes that: Microsoft will not release any security update for its older version of Windows XP, as it stopped supporting Windows XP Operating System.
