Updating your drivers is easier than you think

I spent the last couple of days reorganizing the Driver Category and thought it would be a great time to remind people how easy it is to update your drivers. The newly re-organized section separates stand-alone drivers and utilities like backup tools from the driver update programs because nowadays using a driver update program is the way to go.

Back in the day (2 years ago in internet time) you had to go to your computer manufactures website and even then the drivers were offered late and they stop updating after about a year. So this means you have to search for drivers yourself, or buy a new computer if it’s running that bad. Not great options.
Driver updaters had begun to show up but the problem was that most were shareware and often full of false positives and downloaded the wrong drivers. Not a really great solution. All that has changed now and updating your drivers is as simple as downloading a free program; click update and reboot.

So if you were told to update your drivers, Don’t Panic and grab one of these free tools. The first 2 have videos I made to show you how easy it is!

Drivers can make a huge difference in how your computer runs. So can a little maintenance. When you’re done here, be sure to check out How to Make Your Computer Run Like New in 4 Easy Steps.
