US Broadband Companies Now required to Have Nutrition-Like Labels

They won't give you the daily recommended amount of Vitamin C or Zinc - but the FTC has adopted rules that will now require United Sites Internet Service Providers to display their network information and what the customer will receive in a nutrition label format.
The intention is to bring clarity to the consumer. The label must be prominently displayed in advertisements and customer account portals, as well as making the labels machine readable for easier comparison shopping.
In the released statement, Chairwoman Rosenworcel said, “For over 25 years, consumers have enjoyed the convenience of nutrition labels on food products. We’re now requiring internet service providers to display broadband labels for both wireless and wired services. Consumers deserve to get accurate information about price, speed, data allowances, and other terms of service up front.”
She did not state how many calories are in broadband or the recommended daily dose of memes.
