Remember when opponents said those turbines could never produce enough electricity? Well, this article from WCAX in Vermont reports that they have had to cut back from 35 turbines to 20. You might be thinking it’s due to maintenance, lack of wind or other problems and you would be wrong. Nope, the problem is overcapacity. Go figure.

The short story is that the current power lines in that area are 60 years old and can’t handle all the power that is being generated. I find this interesting and hope you do as well.
