Download helper is a Firefox add-on which will help you download media files from the web with ease.
This Firefox add-on makes finding and saving web videos easy - just surf the web as you are used to, when DownloadHelper detects it can do something for you, the icon gets animated and a menu allows you to download files by simply clicking them.
When the icon is animated, you can see a small triangle at the right of the icon. Click on this arrow to open the download menu and you are ready to directly select the file to download.

It is also able to store on your disk movie files for which the web site does not provide a "Save File" feature. In addition, DownloadHelper can download, in 3 user clicks, all the image and video files linked from a Web page.
For instance, if you go to a YouTube page, you'll be able to download the video directly on your file system. It also works with MySpace, Google videos, DailyMotion, Porkolt, iFilm, DreamHost and others. You can setup the extension to automatically convert the downloaded movies to your preferred video format.
