Police in Dixon, CA., have been busy fielding call from lost visitors stuck within the rows of corn of what is known as the World's Largest Corn Maze. Corny!
The maze seems easy to maneuver through when you first get in, but once inside this massive, 63-acre corn creation, it’s pretty tough to get out.
“There’s a concern; there’s a bit of fear involved,” Deputy Daryl Snedeker from the Solano County Sheriff’s Dept. “I think they are overwhelmed. You can get a little worked up when you can’t get out of a place and everything looks the same.
But some people who get turned around panic and dial 911 for help. Matt Cooley, owner of the maze, says it happens almost every weekend.
“The sheriff then calls me and says ‘hey, we got another one,’” said Cooley.
