Walmart employee caught using Old Spice deodorant then restocking them

Posted by: Jon Ben-Mayor on 11/11/2014 02:46 AM [ comments Comments ]

Chandler Roberts, 18, an apparently sweet smelling employee of a South Carolina Walmart, is being investigated for numerous acts of theft - including the borrowing of Old Spice deodorant and then returning the used product to the shelves.

Roberts was caught on surveillance cameras picking out an Old Spice brand deodorant, using it and then returning the product to the shelf when he was through. Police did not comment on whether the used Spice ened up being purchased by any customers.

When confronted about his actions, Roberts “admitted to stealing several items,” and later “returned numerous stolen items to asset protection” officials. Walmart calculated that the purloined goods were worth $1823.25.

The investigation continues.
