Want to borrow the Google Street View Trekker camera?

If you work for an approved entity like a tourism board, non-profit, government agency, university or research group, you might be able to borrow the Street View Trekker camera and record your adventures.

Geeky-Gadgets explains that the Google Street View Trekker Camera pilot program allows third parties to borrow Google’s Trekker equipment and take it to places around the world.

All you need to do is tell Google more about your proposed locations and upcoming trips, and they will then get back to you if and when there’s an opportunity to loan the Google Street View Trekker Camera.

The loaning of the camera will almost certainly lead to some impressive views, but with it being a back pack I am sure it will also have some impressive fails, which we love!
