Ray Wong of Inverse has released some video of Humane's Wearable Projector in Action.
Humane is a startup that has created a new kind of wearable device that can project a screen on any surface using lasers and act as a personal AI assistant. The device can also recognize objects, translate languages, and make phone calls. The co-founder of Humane and ex=Apple inventor, Imran Chaudhri, demonstrated the device at a TED talk, where he showed how it can help him stay connected, informed, and entertained. He called it "a new way to experience the world".
The devices is described as your on personally trained AI that needs no smartphone or any other device to pair with it. Need directions or a number? It will project the info to your hand with laser. In another country, the AI will translate for you on the fly in your own voice. Think Tricoder mashed with Lt. Ohura and without Google foloowing your every move.
The only more worthy idea I could think of for AI would be something to do with cats.
