Wendy's Burns Burger King on Twitter

What started out as modern social media marketing ended up getting Burger King’s social media team burned and it’s gone viral.

Wendy’s social media team was just doing the same old, same old, this time simply tweeting about their 4 for $4 deal.



Burger King responded by tossing in a chocolate chip cookie and going with the 5 for $4 idea. Not bad and at this point I think we can agree theirs actually looks better, for what that’s worth.



That would be the end of it but an alert social media team at Wendy’s spotted a tweet asking how they were firing back. They did and it was hilarious.



So who wins? McDonald's for keeping their mouths shut
