Sharon K. Bidell, 55, from Western NY, plowed into a parked car recently. When the police arrived, she admitted she had been "drinking earlier." But, she had a good reason.
Bidell told officers that the 1965 Chevy Nova she was driving at the time was "not my drinking car," police said.
She was taken to police headquarters in Buffalo where she registered a blood-alcohol level of 0.21 percent, almost three times the legal limit, police said.
According to Syracuse.Com, Bidell was charged with DWI, aggravated DWI and making an unsafe lane change.
Since a 1965 Chevy Nova is most likely a summer car here in Upstate NY, odds are her "drinking car" is her daily driver.
