William Shatner Knocked Off of Google+ for Violating Terms

Contributed by: Email on 07/18/2011 09:50 AM [ comments Comments ]

Facebook is not alone at their terrible moderation. I got a notice on Facebook the other day that I made a post that was against the terms and had to agree I understood and would not do it again OR ELSE. Problem? They didn’t tell me what I did wrong. Thanks Facebook!

Now it appears that Google+ might have the same awesome quality control as they knocked off William Shatner for “violating standards”. Mr. Shatner tweeted “My Google+ account was flagged for violating standards. Saying hello to everyone apparently is against the rules maybe I should say goodbye?”

Hopefully all of this press wakes someone up at BOTH social networking sites so they realize that many expect better service at a “social” website then generic form responses with no indication of what they are talking about.

Remember when MySpace was cool? From hero to zero in about a year. That’s all it takes guys!
