A Florida woman was arrested for DUI after demanding free food at New Port Richey McDonald's drive-through window during the early morning hours on Sunday, she should know better than to ask for Big Macs before 11am.
According to the police reports obtained by the Tampa Bay Times, deputies say Kimberly Jean Womack managed to articulate a few things when she pulled up to the McDonald's drive-through window at 6 a.m. Sunday.
First, that she wanted two Big Macs, and she wanted them for free.
She justified her demand saying she did not like the burgers she had when she was there before, a Pasco sheriff's report states. When an employee told her Big Macs weren't an option because it was breakfast time, she switched her order to Egg McMuffins — still for free.
Deputies were called to the restaurant at 7226 State Road 54. Womack tested at 0.108 percent blood-alcohol level and told deputies she had taken Klonopin, an antianxiety medication used to treat seizure disorders.
Womack, of 7932 Putnam Circle, was arrested on a charge of driving under the influence. She was booked into the Land O'Lakes jail and released later that day on her own recognizance.
As far as I can tell she did not receive a Big Mac nor an egg McMuffin, but I am sure that the stale waffle and juice box provided by the jail pales in comparison. I wonder what kind of butter they use at Land O' Lakes?
