Reading the headline you might be expecting something a little more shady than the real reason that her online show makes so much money.....
Reuters reports, Park Seo-yeon, 34, eats in front of a video camera during her eating show in her apartment in Incheon, west of Seoul. Known as The Diva, Park broadcasts for up to three hours every day from her apartment, where she eats alone as thousands of viewers watch and chat with her in real time over the Internet. Her viewers in turn send her 'balloons' which translate into cash, about $9000 per month.....
This is the latest craze to hit South Korea, but Seo-yeon says that she isn't doing it for the money, she believes she is giving back to society by helping people who may have eating disorders. The thanks she receives is payment in itself....I am sure that the $9000 a month isn't so bad either!
